Is a Wildlife Site in Your Future?

For us, this is a great day in our lives. We have published the first of our twelve book series of African Folktales. This is our new children/adults' book How The Zebra Got His Stripes. This is the e-book and here's hoping the hard copy to be released soon.

We are hoping to publish our next one in the series before Christmas. On top of all this, Mauritz is ready to launch wildmoz.co.za and wildmoz.com tomorrow. Hope we see you there.

African Comix - Baby Hyenas Being Cute!

What's Going On Here...

Four websites and a book...That's what's going on here!  Gulp... gives me a panic attack just writing that!  But, the good news is that everything is nearly finished and we're about to launch Wildmoz.com and at the same time - insert short drum roll here - introduce our new book to the world.  Hint, hint...it's illustrated!

The Cry of the Hoopoe…

Not everyone shares an enthusiasm for endless music running through the days like gently flowing water, but for us, this makes our home complete. Over time other natural songs joined in this rhythm of our life and even now, the absence of them leaves deep spaces in the harmony of the day.

African Comix... Baboons

Time for another African Comix…

Human-baboon clashes have achieved international notoriety in South Africa. However, all wildlife is unpredictable but here we are cautious of animals that have lost their natural fear of humans.

Animals Missing in Africa…5. The Riverine Rabbit

Up until now, “Animals-Missing-in-Africa” introduced some of our wonderful animals that are just not that easy to view. Most of them are hard to see because their habits and our habits just don’t mesh, but unlike the Black Footed Cat, who is genuinely vulnerable, the Aardwolf, Cape Porcupine, and Aardvark exist in profuse numbers.

Traditional African Food… Seswaa

We published our first book a few days ago. Forgive me for this bit of shameless self-promotion. I’m pretty blown away by the fact that the two of us (M and I) managed to figure out all the technical stuff and put together a usable product! Here’s hoping this new project will lay the foundation for more books, including some of specific interest to readers here. If you’d like to see more, our first offering is featured in the latest posts on Copymoz and Mozimaxweb.
